Of course everyone's excited about the upcoming release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. But all those books with all those pages - a lot of trees go into that much paper. There's a great program, Eco-Libris, that balances out the books you read by planting trees. And they're putting on a special contest: send them a picture of yourself reading any of the Harry Potter books and you could get seven trees (one for each book) planted in your name. The best photo wins a free copy (100% recycled paper) of the new book. You can reserve your Library copy of the new book here. Thanks to the blog Kids Lit for passing this along.
