Parents - Save the Date!

The Library is bringing author Anastasia Goodstein to speak on Wednesday March 12th at 7:30 pm at Palo Alto High School's Haymarket Theater. The topic is: What Teens and Tweens Are Really Doing Online.

Goodstein wrote Totally Wired, an inside guide about teens and technology. It covers such critical topics as cyberbullying, social networking, blogging, and much more. She directly addresses parents' concerns and says, "The good news for parents is that the positives of being totally wired far outweigh the risks."

If you have, teach or know children already immersed in technology or soon to be, this event is for you!

The event is generously funded by the Friends of the Library and is cosponsored by the Palo Alto Unified School District, the Palo Alto Council of PTAs and the Palo Alto Drug Alcohol Community Collaborative. Kepler's Books will be there selling Goodstein's book.
