Program Friday: Authors! Authors!

We are so excited about these two author visits! Get the dates on your calendar now so you don't miss out. Kepler's Books is bringing author/illustrator Graeme Base to:

Please note that the library will be staying open later than usual for this special event.

Graeme Base will be presenting his new book, Enigma: A Magical Mystery. Enigma has a puzzle to solve, but he can only do it with the help of his assistant...YOU! Are you up to the task of helping him save the magic show? All will be revealed when this talented Australian author/illustrator brings his own magic to the Library. Don't miss this chance to meet the creative mastermind whose lavish illustrations have been entrancing minds for over two decades.

This family program is appropriate for children ages 4 and up.

The following Saturday, Kepler's, the Library and PAUSD will present Neil Gaiman!

Can a boy rasied by ghosts face the wonders and terrors of the worlds of both the living and the dead?

Join us for an exquisite treat when this master storyteller reads from his latest invention of wonder, terror and magic, The Graveyard Book. This chilling tale is Gaiman's first full-length novel for middle-grade readers since the internationally best-selling Coraline.

Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase. You can guarantee getting one by calling Kepler's at 650-324-4321 and asking for Noam Rosen. There will not be a signing line at the event, which will be at:

  • Spangenberg Theatre, 780 Arastradero Rd.
  • 7:30 pm
  • Sat., Oct. 4th.

This event is most appropriate for older elementary school students, middle and high school students and adults.

The two new books are now on order. Click on the titles to reserve the books.
