The popular Paws to Read program returns tomorrow, October 18 at 2:30 pm at Children's Library. This program pairs trained companion dogs with beginning readers who can spend 15 - 20 minutes reading to the dogs. Last week we incorrectly stated that the program is full for this month, but we have actually already moved to the new "first come, first served" method.

It's almost election time. We're having one at Children's Library, too! Kids are welcome to come in and vote for their favorite books. We'll announce the results at at the Afterschool Special on November 20 at 3:30 p.m, along with the winners of the Dear Mr. President writing contest.
