Happy Birthday, Children's Library!

Children's Library first opened 67 years ago this week. It is the oldest free-standing public library in the U.S. dedicated exclusively for children. And now it's only a little more than two weeks until it reopens after extensive renovations. For those of you familiar with the old Children's Library, you will recognize some of the historic, original features such as the fireplace with its surrounding Mother Goose and Secret Garden tiles. But you will see a lot more new additions. Please come celebrate on Saturday, September 29th!
