Kid-Friendly Recipe: Yogurt Banana Pops

When the weather gets hot it is time for icy treats. Get your kids in the kitchen with this easy, low-fat popsicle recipe from the book, Kids' First Cookbook (click here to reserve this item).

Yogurt Banana Pops
1 cup sliced ripe banana
1/3 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup 2% milk
Aluminum foil
Popsicle Mold
Wooden popsicle sticks

In a bowl, mash the bananas well with a fork. Add yogurt and milk and mix well. Pour into popsicle molds or small cups and cover tightly with foil. Take a popsicle stick and poke one through the foil in the center of each pop. Place in the freezer overnight.

Secret Tip: Use foil or plastic wrap to hold your sticks in place when you freeze your pops. Your sticks will always come out sticking straight up!
