Poetry and PROGRAM Fridays

Mother Goose fanatics will love the poetry book, The Moon & Riddles Diner and the Sunnyside Cafe. While the book doesn't really reference Mother Goose, it has teapot, cows jumping over the moon, forks, and spoons. The illustrations are quite different-- cut out, pop-ups that flat on the page. Click here to reserve this item. Here's a poem from the book:

Dancing All Night

When Shoofly Sally calps her hands

at the Sunnyside Cafe,

a thousand heifers rock and roll.

They hoof it high,

they hoof it low,

across the Milky Way.
