Poetry Friday: Shape Me a Rhyme

Nature is full of shapes, and this book is full of beautiful poems and photographs that reveal some of them. Triangles? Look no further than an alligator's tooth. Cresecents? The moon, of course. And then there are circles ....

Round as a ball,
Round as the sun,
A circle goes round
To where it's begun.

Jane Yolen is a prolific author and poet. Her son, Jason Stemple, is a free-lance photographer who has collaborated with his mom on several wonderful books. You can reserve this one here.

By the way, there are no special programs scheduled next week, but you can view the full month's schedule here.
